Michael Vincent Verdi grew up in West Orange, New Jersey. He enrolled at nearby Upsala College, in East Orange,New Jersey. While at Upsala he won several awards in biology and was in the honors program. He graduated ,magna cum laude, from Upsala in1989.He then went on to attend the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. He graduated at the top of his class from the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine (PCPM) in 1993.
Dr. Michael Verdi, the Practice founder, practices in the following areas of Podiatric medicine and Surgery: Pediatric Foot Care, Bunion and Hammertoe Surgery, and Sports Medicine. He has been on staff at St. Barnabas Medical Center, Livingston, New Jersey since 1995. Dr. Verdi has over a decade of experience in treating foot and ankle disorders. Dr. Verdi has completed a Foot and Ankle Surgical Residency Program at St. Barnabas Medical in Livingston, New Jersey in 1995 where he was Chief Resident. He became board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery in 1998. He is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Society, New Jersey Podiatric Medical Society, and American Diabetes Association. Dr. Verdi is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgery. Dr.Verdi is also a member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Pediatrics. Dr Verdi is a past consultant to the New Jersey State Board of Medical Examiners for Podiatric Medicine and Surgery
